Acts 2:1-47 chiastic structure:
1a) Act 2:1-3, On Pentecost, they were together with one accord/ rushing mighty wind + tongues of fire;
1b) Act 2:4-13, Filled with the Holy Spirit + spoke with other tongues/ marveled to hear their own language;
1a) Act 2:4a, And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit;
1b) Act 2:4b-5, Began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance + Jews from every nation;
central axis) Act 2:6, “And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language;”
2b) Act 2:7-12, Jews from every nation marveled to hear praises to God in their own native languages;
1a) Act 2:7, They were amazed + marveled: Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?
1b) Act 2:8, And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?
