My daughter is teaching me how to crochet. I learned embroidery from my grandmother, taught myself to sew, quilt, cross stitch, and needlepoint, but never picked up yarn to learn to knit or crochet, even though my grandmother and mother crocheted. My daughter has been crocheting for a number of years now – she taught herself – and is now teaching me.

I am so happy I find your blog! I first found you through researching Classical Christian Education in 1999. I Used the Well Trained Mind and your website to start a Classical program in the school I co-founded and become the Curriculum Advisor of that same year. When my son was the only 10th Grader, I home schooled him in 10th-12th Grades. He was admitted to Princeton University, graduated, and married his wife of the same class. I always want to thank you for your help. Thank you soooo much!
