Someone commented that the extra code was showing up in posts again, so I cleaned up again. Note to self: Homeschool Blogger is in beta testing, be sure to let the powers that be know this is a recurring problem, at least for AOL users. Anyone using any other browser with the code in posts problem? Thank you for continuing to alert me to the problem.
I added the verse of the day from Bible Gateway, as well as a Bible Gateway search. Yay!!
I added lots of links to some of my favorite things. Even with that, there is still a lot of blank space in the right sidebar … we will
get it filled up eventually. I am new to education, homeschool, and Christian blogs, and haven’t read enough of them to have favorites yet, but I have a list started that I am checking all the time …
I am working on my favorite books. This is a hard one, because my list is pretty long and I need to whittle it down. I may change it to favorite authors, I am still trying to decide on that. In the meantime, I have a list up of books I am currently reading or re-reading, and I imagine this list will be changing all the time.

Hi Christine,
I discovered Bouguereau just this spring and have been looking in vain ever since for affordable art prints of his work. When I followed your link I was delighted to find a full page of his pictures-many of which I have been searching for-and for under $100 to boot! After some of the prices I've come across, these are affordable in my opinion! I am thrilled. 🙂
I stumbled onto your blog by accident at homeschoolblogger. I was there from another link-can't remember now whose it was-and saw your name under the new bloggers category. I was a member in the late 90's of your….gosh, what was it called then? Was it a yahoo group? Anyway, the group that you moderated. It eventually was deleted I believe. Yours was one of the very first groups I was ever a part of when I was brand new to the computer world. As a matter of fact, from your group I began an off-topic list that eventually whittled itself down to 12 members who became very close friends, many of whom have met one another in person. I left the group in good hands last fall after 5 years but still keep in touch with a few of the ladies.
To be honest I now follow more of a Charlotte Mason approach to hs'ing but still check your website from time to time for ideas and am collecting the H.A. Guerber books to read aloud to my children as we go along. Actually, I need to be ordering the one after the Middle Ages for this fall.
Welcome to the blogging world! It's great to be in touch with you again Christine. 🙂
