The tabernacle, or dwelling place of the Lord’s presence, was made, furnished, and constructed, just as the LORD had commanded Moses, without deviating to the right or to the left. Without adding to them or subtracting from them. And then, the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
I often hear, in assembly with the believers, prayers for the glory of the LORD to come and fill the worship, and the meeting. Beloved, if we do all according to His commandment, without adding to or taking away from, we will not have to keep praying.
Now the strong themes for the final chapters of Exodus:
Exo 32:15-33:11 {s+p} Consequences of idolatry: 3000 fell + the Lord will not go with them + tabernacle not built
The next set are three strong paragraphs together:
Exo 33:12-16 {p} Mediation of Moses: My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest
Exo 33:17-23 {p} The plea of Moses: show me Your glory
Exo 34:1-26 {p} The renewal of the covenant, the Ten Commandments
Moses is acting as the Mediator, as a prophetic type for Messiah. Because of the mediation of Messiah, we have forgiveness of sin, the indwelling of the Lord’s presence: rest from the consequence of sin (works- based salvation). We find grace in His sight, and we are covered by His glory. Messiah renews the covenant of promise, and we walk in His commandments, empowered by His Spirit. It is a complete picture of the new life believers of the new creation are walking in today, because of Messiah. So,
Exo 33:12-34:26 {px3} Moses the Mediator of the renewed covenant: grace + glory + Spirit- filled obedience
Exo 34:27-35:1-3 {s+s+p} Moses reflected God’s glory (His presence + His words), encompassed by obedience
Exo 35:4-29 {p} Freewill offering for the work of the tabernacle

Exo 36:14-36:38 {s+p} He made the coverings, frame, veil and screen for the tabernacle

Exo 37:25-39:1 {sx5+p} With the offering brought for the tabernacle, Bezalel made all that the Lord commanded Moses
