september 24 – 30 and october 01 – 07 scripture picture chiastic structure
The two weeks formed two separate chiastic structures, but their end points did not divide exactly at the week’s end. However, their central axis’ paired, and the repeated message said to me that the two structures were to be taken together and considered together:

My takeaway in my prayer journal:
This is the last times, and the end is coming. Do not fear man and be snared, but repent and do the will of God, bearing fruit worthy of repentance. He has given His commands because He is good and gives good gifts. Receiving His good gifts imparts life and understanding; walking in His way is the way of love, and He gives a full reward and refuge to those who take shelter in Him. Therefore trust in Him, for He will keep you safely and in shalom. He is with you. He dwells with you and is in you, full of merciful kindness and truth. Let the LORD judge and let the LORD avenge the wickedness of the wicked; His hand is stretched out and it will not be turned back. But you will be kept by the power of God through faith for salvation which is soon to be revealed.
I am not familiar with the use of chiasmus as a tool for Bible study and understanding. The 2 or 3 examples I have seen have used verses in the same text section. I noticed that the 10092017 one has scripture from various books etc.
How were these books, chapters, verses selected in this instance?
Most of the structures posted on my Bible studies do form chiasms from one section of text. I have been thinking of writing a post explaining where the verses for the Shabbat Prophetic come from … let me find the first post for you in this series which I think does shed some light on it …
This is the first Shabbat Prophetic message from my prayer journal in 2015. In that instance, since there is a Scripture Picture associated with each day’s Bible study, the week’s Bible study Scriptures combined to speak a message:

The following week, I looked at the Bible study Scriptures again to see if the same thing would happen, and lo and behold, that week the Scriptures formed a structure:

It surprised me too! But as it kept happening week after week, I kept track of each day’s Scripture pictures in my prayer journal. These days there are 3 distinct Scriptures for each day in my prayer journal, and I will write that post telling how they are selected, hopefully tomorrow. (Hint: there is a very strict process I follow and do not deviate from, and making them fit a structure is not now nor has ever been part of the criteria!)
