We are pursuing a greater God- dependent and less worldly- dependent lifestyle and home. Our life centered in our home means more home business and less corporate rat race, more gardening and less supermarkets, more sewing, creating, recycling and upcycling and less shopping, more natural healing and less pharmaceuticals, more natural beauty and less cosmetics, more natural cleaning and less chemicals, more hospitality and less entertainment.

The Transformed Home began as This Side of Heaven on the now defunct homestead blogger network. We had built a wealth of posts, and even though most were lost, I did manage to save some and will be rebuilding them here in our new permanent home. Our family lived most of our lives in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, where we homeschooled our children and raised an organic garden, chickens, and goats. We have since moved to Florida, and are continuing our pursuit of a slower, simpler, healthier, and more God-dependent life. Thank you for stopping by!

I think I remember you from either homeschoolblogger or homesteadblogger…I was on both but more on homeschoolblogger. It’s so nice to find you again. I saw you on facebook and have liked your page on there. YHVH bless you…

Yes, I started out on homeschoolblogger and then was also on homesteadblogger when they got that up and running. It is very nice to see old friends, thank you so much for visiting Nancy. <3

Hi! I literally stumbled upon your site today when I clicked on a Psalm 94 chiastic structure photo that I liked! Lots of interesting stuff here, and I really look forward to delving deeper into your archived articles. I’m especially interested in the detox section right now. I, too, reside in Florida, so “Hello, neighbor”!
