Why we homeschool news

The National Education Association concluded its annual meeting this month. Reading through the meeting’s business, we find dozens of resolutions advocating all manner of left-wing causes, but none on anything having to do with educating the country’s children, at least not in academics. Two big news stories came out during the conference: that the NEA will not only continue its pro-homo[s-x]ual agenda in the public schools, but increase it; and that any opposition to its pro-homo[s-x]ual policies will be fought tooth and nail (Broken link, active July 26, 2005). What does homo[s-x]ual activism have to do again with English, writing, and math? That is why we homeschool.
