The prototype was tested in the Battle of Mosul in 2017.
They’ve made VAST improvements.
This is the third generation.
In Mosul, they used it to detect and kill suicide bombers at no danger to themselves.
I saw multiple prototypes.
This third-generation technology is far more sophisticated than what I saw I Mosul.
As I always tell people, fact is FAR MORE exciting than fiction.
After the Iraqis accepted help from the Gulf Cooperation Council and Israel, no more Iraqi senior military and federal police commanders were killed by suicide vest.
The Islamic State created suicide vests that could take out the interior of a house.
A sheet of plastic explosive is covered by a sheet of ball bearings embedded in plastic.
TO THIS DAY, all the “experts” are wrong about which man is the suicide bomber.

It was the briskly walking man on the right.
See the walking man’s position relative to the black vertical stripe on the wall and the woman in the white fur collar?
And see the dark center of the explosion on the sidewalk?
It’s likely that THIS MAN WAS ACTUALLY THE TARGET, not the bomber.
We can’t trust the Turks to be honest about ANYTHING.
Iraq, Syria, and Yemen were the proving grounds for new offensive weapons and defensive technology.
And now it’s all here.
This is why it pays to KNOW things.
And the way to KNOW things is to LOOK THEM UP.
All my attempts to talk to others about this stuff failed.
The “experts” are all utterly possessive of “their” knowledge, so they shoot down any attempt to ADD to their knowledge base.
If your ideas are unknown to them, they mock you mercilessly.
So I became my own expert.
In MANY fields.
I’m my father’s son.
The only place I share this stuff is on Twitter, and that’s because this is the only place where you aren’t savaged for daring to think differently.
I’m talking strictly about weapons, technology, tactics, and so on.
Occasionally some wheezy old bastard attacks me.
But they don’t matter.
History has bypassed them.
AND IT’S THEIR CHOICE.
Trump is 74 years old, for God’s sake.
His mind is more nimble than it’s ever been.
It’s because he ALWAYS USES IT.
As I wait for a bunch of pieces to fall into place, I research things.
Just for myself.
I have no need to share them.
I do HERE, because people are fascinated.
But the “elite” are blockheads, for the most part.

COMMENT : ? for ya. Right around the time there was someone, a threat, caught during a presser, the president looked somewhat more somber for a while, and looked bulkier, kept pulling at his jacket. Was there a threat that was more concerning that usual, and did he wear extra protectives?

He’s VERY safe.

I watched Iraqi federal police go into foliage six feet high, with no forward view.
They shot and killed SIX suicide bombers without suffering any casualties and without directly laying eyes on the terrorists.
