Always be ready to give an answer

The next time someone asks you why you homeschool, you can say, “Well, my grammar, spelling, and logic are at least better than New York state standards for middle school teachers, my son won’t be brutally stabbed on the schoolbus (Broken link, active May 4, 2007) by a classmate while his six- year- old sister watches, and my children won’t be in danger from teacher predators, who, after they get caught committing statutory rape on minors, receive sympathy instead of jail from the judge. Is that reason enough?”
