Jesus told us that Moses wrote about Him, and that if we believed Moses, we would believe Him (Joh 5:46). Moses and Jesus are in perfect agreement—both full of grace and truth. The enemy has lied to us long enough about the obsolete Old Testament, and we can see why today: his goal is to steal from us, destroy us, and kill us (Joh 10:10), and the purpose of obedience to God’s Law is to keep us alive in this life and to bless us.

These three offices are prophetic of Messiah. The Torah and Prophets teach that when Messiah comes, it will be as king, prophet, and priest. We know that when Messiah Yeshua came, He fulfilled the role of prophet and priest already. He spoke God’s word to the people, and by His substitutionary death on the cross, became the perfect High Priest of our confession, fulfilling forever the role of priest between God and man (book of Hebrews). When He returns, it will be as King; He will rule the nations with a rod of iron.
2 Corinthians 10, War not according to the flesh

This is how the enemy wars against us, and how we war against him. The enemy’s weapons that we must pull down, are strongholds, arguments, and high things that exalt itself against the knowledge of God. Before they exit the mouth as spoken lies, they begin as thoughts that do not agree with the truth, embodied in the knowledge that God has revealed in His Word.
