Deuteronomy 23:15-24:7, 8th Commandment Summary (Additional studies: Deuteronomy Index)
Psalm 109, The accusations of the wicked (Additional studies: Psalms Book Five, Psalms 107-150, Index)
The devil begins his work with his mouth. Yeshua said of him that he was a liar and the father of lies (Joh 8:44). When we think of wickedness, we tend to think of actions. But wickedness begins with thoughts, first, and proceeds to words, which are just voiced thoughts. That is why, whenever you hear an accusation in your heart, you know who is speaking that to you. It is not God. God edifies and encourages. When we allow our mouths to be used to accuse another, we have just partnered with satan in his work. Let not a wicked mouth be found among us, O God!
John 11:1-45, Chiastic structure (additional studies: John Index)
