For all the butters, blend the ingredients together and store in half-pint jars in the refrigerator or freezer.
honey butter
1/2 c butter, soft
1/3 c honey
strawberry butter
1/2 c butter, soft
1/3 c strawberry jam
almond orange butter
1/2 c butter, soft
1/3 c orange marmalade
1/4 c ground almonds
maple butter
1/2 c butter, soft
2/3 c real maple syrup
Heat the maple syrup to the soft ball stage and cool. (Or boil gently on medium heat for 8 minutes.) Beat the butter and syrup together until creamy. Store in half-pint jars. Makes 3 half-pints.
