Psalm 37:4
These three Scriptures were on my heart today:
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psa 37:4.
“Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.” Mar 4:18-19
“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” Rev 2:4-5
Restore to me my first love, let me be on guard against other things entering in to compete with Your first place in my heart, Lord; and let my delight ever be in You! Not for what I will get, but simply because You are worthy!
