Today was the Sabbath and I did not cook today. Everything we ate today was prepared yesterday so that we could rest.
Here is today’s menu:
Breakfast: fruit salad made with 1 c strawberries, 1 apple, 1 banana, 2 clementines, and red grapes, or whatever fruit you have on hand. I always splash a little freshly squeezed orange juice on the fruit to keep the apples and bananas from turning. This makes a lot of salad, so we also ate it at lunch and at snacks.
Check off 2 of 2 fiber rich, and daily citrus.
Snack: yogurt mango smoothie. Today we could have used any fruit we wanted since we already have our high fiber fruit in. I made this on Friday afternoon for Sarah and I and put the smoothie in a tupperware in a freezer. Then when it was time to eat, I took it out and let it set at room temperature for 30 minutes or so. We ate it with a spoon like ice cream!
Check off daily yogurt.
Lunch: french onion soup (without the bread) and 4 oz leftover meatloaf.
Check off 4 oz daily protein and daily sulfer rich.
Snack: 2 stalks celery with guacamole.
Check off daily liver healing and daily omega 3 rich fat.
Dinner: 4 oz crock pot chicken, mashed potatoes, and 2 c coleslaw on a bed of 1 c beet greens, with other lettuces if desired.
Check off 4 oz daily protein, daily crucifer, and daily dark leafy greens.
