Dressing up and stepping out

I worked on the blog ‘look’ this weekend so that it is not a plain white background with black text. Let me know what you think and if everything is easily readable. This evening we are going to our daughter’s house to celebrate our grandson’s first birthday (his first year went by a lot faster than our childrens’ first years when they were babies), and I hope to post pictures (!!!) if I can figure that out as well.
