The transport driver told us on the way back to the parking lot at Epcot that EPCOT stands for “Every Person Comes Out Tired.” True. But she was kidding. It really stands for “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.” I think I remembered that right.
We only had one day at Epcot, and needed at least two or three. The Living Seas exhibit was closed for refurbishing, and some of the fascinating rides and exhibits we didn’t have time to see, so we just have to plan a return trip sometime!
The World Showcase was my favorite; we only had enough time to walk through; it was amazing. When we come back, we would like to see all the exhibits associated with each country. In September – October Epcot hosts the international food and wine festival and you can sample the best dishes of each country. Yum!

I had the great blessing to take my 3 oldest boys to Disney World last year. It was the first real vacation I have ever taken them on, and what a wonderful experience. There’s nothing like the Magic Kingdom of course, but our favorite was EPCOT. We had two full days there, and it still wasn’t enough.
I agree about coming out tired, but what a good exhaustion.
Thanks for bringing back pleasant memories!
