Today’s Old Testament chronological reading is in Genesis 25 and 26.
The Psalms/ Proverbs reading is in Psalm 34.
The New Testament reading is in Matthew 24.
Psa 34:1-22 Chiastic structure.
Studying Psa 34 from the JPS compared to the NKJV highlighted for me many word pairs in this psalm that have gone unnoticed before, and called forth a new Chiastic structure, which I like better than the old one linked below. The pairs I have made in my notes are:
bless and exalt
glorify and magnify
sought and cried out
heard and answered
happy and blessed
take refuge and trust
holy ones and children
to fear and to seek
depart and cut off
do good and do evil
toward and open
held guilty, desolate, condemned
I will be the rest of the day on the Hebrew root word definitions for these pairs, and if I am able, will make a new post about it.
