Luke 15:11-32 Chiastic Structure:
The compassion, with which the father was moved for his son, is the same compassion with which Jesus regularly experienced for the people who came to Him, like sheep without a shepherd. We studied the Greek and Hebrew Root Word in depth last year.
But notice that surrounding the central axis highlighting the father’s compassion for his son, is the reciprocal relationship of the D pairs. As soon as the son got up and went to his father, his father got up and went to his son. No, he ran to his son.
And this is exactly the way it is with our Father in the Kingdom. When we go to Him, He runs to us, to meet us, to fall on our neck, and to kiss us in welcome home!
