We haven’t been on vacation in years, but we are leaving early Tuesday morning for Florida! (My first time to Florida!) My husband and I are going with my daughter, son-in-law, and Zane!! My daughter and I gave each other pedicures yesterday, we have all had haircuts, and got some great deals on appropriate sun and beach and out on the town for the evening clothes at the end-of-summer clearance sales around here. I am almost done transferring my worship cds to mp3 files for portable listening while away (anyone happy with a particular mp3 player? I know nothing about them and have to go get one tomorrow.)
First stop: Orlando and Disney World, then Sarasota and the sun, beach, and ocean at the Gulf of Mexico to visit my husband’s family. We will be back late on October 12th. All book orders received by Monday October 3 will be shipped Monday; any received from the 4th through the 12th will be shipped on Thursday October 13th. We will have wifi and laptops with us, so I hope to post pictures on this very blog each evening of our wacky adventures that day — if we aren’t out too late with the whole having fun thing. If I can post tomorrow I will, but with shipping and packing and all the last minute things I might not be able to. But I will try!

That’s great, I’m sure you will enjoy yourselves. I grew up in Sarasota. It is a lot bigger than it was when I left almost 11 years ago, but it is still a pretty place. We’ll be going down there soon to visit my family too.
