I am clearly going to have to get my own camera. I am going to have to start remembering to take pictures of our dishes. Usually I remember that I was supposed to take a picture first when there are a few bites left. I am going to have to learn how to “plate” food (Broken link, active March 18, 2005) (a term I learned from watching Iron Chef America) so that the photo of it on the food blog will be worth looking at. And learning a little something of compostion, and a little something of color. It is like quilting, only with food, and the blog. It will be fun, and what a wonderful heirloom a finished food and recipe blog will be to leave to my children and grandchildren. How I would have loved to have something like it from my grandmother’s kitchen.
