See a spoiler-laden nine-minute trailer here.
I was surprised at the number of snarky reviews I found. Apparently the usual suspects are trashing the movie, just as they did Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ. (Narnia everything that is hateful about religion; LOTR if Peter Jackson had blown it; etc. etc.) Christianity Today says, “Many mainstream journalists have treated the movie as a sort of pending terrorist attack.” How sad, but true. Let’s hope the box office helps them eat their words here as well.
And lastly, the Christian Post reports that a newly discovered letter of C.S. Lewis’ reveals the Narnia story is about Christ. Duh! Apparently this has been a big controversy among the ivory tower folks.

We plan on seeing it tomorrow. The trailer just brings tears to my eyes. I see Jesus in it so much. Well that sounded dumb but oh well.
