1 Samuel 17:1-18:5 Chiastic Structure:
David is a type of Messiah in Scripture, and the teaching tool of the Signs of Messiah begin to shine a spotlight on David. One of the Signs is resurrection life, or life delivered from certain death, and this is exactly what David experienced. His death seemed certain, but instead he triumphed over the enemies of Israel, just as Messiah did and does!
