How many games are in this post? Mike and Brittany came over on Sunday afternoon; we grilled hamburgers and played Dominion. There’s the first game!
This weekend Mike sold us all his Wii games plus four steering wheels to play Mario Kart, plus the guitar for Guitar Hero, for $50, and the Wii Fit program and mat or whatever it is for $20. So out of all the games, we are keeping Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Mario Galaxy to play with Zane. And the steering wheels. And two Lego games. (Wii Sports Resort came with the Wii, that is fun too.) All the rest we are selling to make our $70 back (even though Sarah begged to keep Guitar Hero. Sorry Chica! I can’t stand that music, LOL.)
Games aren’t really a necessity of life, are they? Not like food or clean water or a roof over our heads. But in the space of two weeks, God has provided for us an expensive game system from Steph and Ty, and all these expensive games to play on it from Mike. We didn’t even ask Him for it! We played Mario Kart with Zane and Grace for literally hours on Saturday afternoon, I guess while it was snowing buckets in Colorado. It was fun! The Wii games are the second game!
Sarah went bowling with friends Sunday evening. The local bowling alley is one price for all the games you can play till closing on Sunday nights, so the young people go Sunday nights, LOL. There’s the third game!
Dad is on Facebook every single day now to play Pet Society with Zane. So if any of you want to start leaving him notes on Facebook, he will see it now before six months have gone by, LOL. He chatted with one of his friends from Colorado on Facebook chat for a good long while after I went to bed Sunday night. Such an amazing 180 turn around! BTW, I am on Pet Society in the evenings too, playing with Dad and Zane. There’s the fourth game!
Now if only we had transporters or something and we could whisk off to Colorado to play SkipBo, Sets, and Dominoes with all of you, at least once a month, life would be perfect, wouldn’t it? :: happy sigh :: There’s five, six, and seven games!
