They were in Florida helping Aunt Marcie move, and they spent the day with us on Monday! It was wonderful!
First order of business was coffee and pastries in downtown Sarasota.
We spent some time on the islands visiting all the touristy shops, and had a wonderful lunch on the beach at The Beachhouse.
Then we toured the orchid displays at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
We met Mike and Brittany for dinner and a birthday celebration on St. Armand’s Circle, which, unfortunately, I got zero pictures of, being quite tired by this time of night lol. I will just say, if you ever need a celebration cake, the master bakers at Cakes by Ron put out beautiful and completely delicious cakes; you cannot go wrong! The Ballingers were only here for one day – they were on the road early the next morning for the long trip home. I loved every minute of being with my sister!
