Happy New Year

Happy 2007 to everyone. New Year’s is not a big holiday in our house, maybe because every day is a new beginning in our new life as Christians. We had our children and their families over for dinner and we played games. Zane had a Winnie the Pooh matching game from Christmas, which he enjoyed lining up the like cards. We played Balderdash, and my son tried to teach me the bookshelf game Acquire. My son and husband collect these bookshelf games and play them with the guys on guys night out. Acqure is a Wall Street stock market kind of game, which my son loves, However, I must not have that cut throat capitalist streak in me, because I didn’t do too well, LOL. Other favorite games when the families get together, are Mah Jongg, Sets, and Dominoes.
