First of all, I apologize for the lateness of this post. As you might imagine, it has been a busy week. Monday and Tuesday were spent collecting supplies from all the Home Depots and Lowe’s in the Sarasota / Bradenton area. It should have only taken a single afternoon, but when you discover that no one store has all the things you need, then the hunt begins. LOL.
And also we have been packing and emptying rooms in prep for construction. Since Wednesday Kraig and Dave (“the Dads”) have been working on the front room first. They are finishing my bookcase wall, trimming the windows, prepping the baseboard, and installing a drop ceiling. I am going to get my office back! I am so happy!
It isn’t all blood, sweat, and tears:
Anne and I have been running errands, shopping for food, making the food, and catching up like schoolgirls on everything that has been going on in our respective lives. The teens have been a huge help to both the Dads, and the Moms, wherever they are needed.

- Anne and Christine.
And then at night, when the kitchen is cleaned up, we a) watch design or cooking shows, b) watch movies, or c) play games, and talk, until everyone goes to bed. I am having a wonderful time with our dear friends!
