Indoctrination in Hawaii public schools

The new 10th grade history of Hawaii textbook in use in Hawaii’s public schools is full of both anti-Americanism and racist propaganda, according to the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii. The history is stretched and fabricated, the white men and missionaries are portrayed in an evil light, while natives,
Democrats, and labor unions are portrayed benevolently. Real history tells the truth, the good and bad of all parties, just as the Scriptures do. The heroes of Bible history are not caricatures, their failures are detailed (Abraham taking Hagar to wife, Peter’s denial of Jesus) as well as their triumphs (Abraham’s obedience in offering Isaac, Peter’s powerful sermon on the Day of Pentecost). This is why we homeschool.
