Job 12 and 13, Chiastic structure

God rebukes all of them, Job included, for not knowing what they are talking about. The erroneous assumption that all three friends have made so far, is that Job must have done something to deserve what he is experiencing. This is a warning to us, to take care, and not assume that every man’s calamity has come upon them as earned consequences. Yeshua teaches the same in Luk 13:1-5.
Psalm 12, The tried words of YHVH
Additional studies: Psalms Book One (1-41) Index
When men are tested, then the word of God is also tested. How? The man may have mentally assented to the truth of God’s word when life was wonderful, but when the rubber meets the road in a time of trial, he must put the full weight of his life upon the truth of that word. He tests it, like a man putting his weight on a bridge he has not crossed before. When the bridge holds him, he has proved it to be a sturdy structure.
Matthew 8, Who can this be?
Additional studies: Matthew Index
His power extends over the spiritual world, in that He cleanses leprosy (tsara’ath) and casts out demons. His power extends over the natural world, in that He heals every sickness and disease, and even the winds and the waves obey Him. Moreover, when the leper worships Him, Yeshua does not dissuade him. And the demons proclaim Him to be the Son of God. This chapter is answering the question, “Who can this be?” (Mat 8:27). The answer: God come in the flesh (Joh 1:1,14).
