Job 27 and 28, Outline of Job’s speech

YHVH bears this testimony about Job:
The word of YHVH came again to me, saying, “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says YHVH God. Eze 14:12-14
To the time of Ezekiel, the three most righteous men who had lived on the earth, were Noah, Daniel, and Job! Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, nor Joseph, nor David, nor Elijah made that list.
Psalm 19, Chiastic structure

The psalm is roughly divided in half. The first half, vs. 1-6, describes the excellence of YHVH’s works. The second half, vs. 7-14, describes the excellence of YHVH’s words. They both speak the same message: YHVH God is great and glorious; let the earth and all its inhabitants stand in awe of Him! It is perhaps from this passage of Scripture that Francis Bacon, the father of the scientific method, was inspired to write:
“Let no man … think or maintain that a man can search too far, or be too well studied in the book of God’s word, or the book of God’s works, divinity or philosophy; but rather let men endeavor an endless progress or proficience in both.” The Advancement of Learning, 1605.
Matthew 13, The sower sows the Word
Additional studies: Matthew Index
We must pay attention to the words entering our ears and entering our eyes, because words are seeds. It is good or evil words that are sown in the soil of our hearts and which grow to produce good or evil fruit. So those who have turned their hearts to hear the Word of God (Deu 6:4-9), to love it, to believe it, to heed its admonitions, have made the soil of their hearts good soil. They hear, and more will be given to them besides, including keys, revelation, and understanding. But those who can take or leave the Word of God, who are too busy to make time to receive it into their ears or eyes or hearts, or who are constantly doubting the truth or wisdom of God’s Word–they do not hear already. What little they do hear, they hear but then won’t understand.
