The cry of Job’s heart since his calamity came upon him, was that God would hear his request for an explanation, and answer him. (He does not yet know that God will answer him.) But silence is an answer. It means, keep searching, because you are not yet asking the right questions; or, keep searching, because you have not yet come to depth of repentance God is looking for. (When calamity comes upon me, I am learning to ask, “Teach me what I should learn through this Father, while I wait expectantly for You.”)

If the events of the past years have moved or shaken our faith, then we must realize complete trust in YHVH and in His mercy bears the fruit of not moved. Trust in YHVH includes trust in His timing!

Our status or background does not matter, as God is not a respecter of persons as men are. What matters, is our faith or lack thereof. Even if our status and background are of the first rank, unbelief will not profit us; but faith will uphold us even if our status and background are of the lowest rank.
