Joh 11:1-45 chiastic structure:
1a) Joh 11:1-16, That God be glorified in the Son, that you may believe, I go to wake him up;
1a.1) Joh 11:1-4a, Lazarus was sick/ When Jesus heard that;
1a.2) Joh 11:4b, Jesus: This sickness is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified;
central axis) Joh 11:5, Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus;
2a.1) Joh 11:6, When He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was;
2a.2) Joh 11:7-16, Jesus: I go to wake him up, that you may believe;

1c.2) Joh 11:21, Martha said to Jesus: Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died;
1d) Joh 11:22-24: Martha’s belief: God will give You what You ask/ My brother will rise in the resurrection at the last day;
central axis) Joh 11:25-26, Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
2d) Joh 11:27, Martha’s belief: I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world;
2c.1) Joh 11:28-31, Mary, as soon as she heard Jesus called for her, came to Him/ Jews who were comforting her;
2c.2) Joh 11:32, Mary said to Jesus: Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died;
