Joh 13:1-38 chiastic structure:
1a.1) Joh 13:1a, Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father;
1a.2) Joh 13:1b, Having loved His own who were in the world; He loved them to the end;
1b) Joh 13:2, Supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot to betray Him;
1c) Joh 13:3, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands/ that He had come from God and was going to God;
1d) Joh 13:4-12c, Jesus washed the disciples’ feet/ “You are clean, but not all of you;”
1a) Joh 13:4a, Rose from supper;
1b) Joh 13:4b, And laid aside His garments;
1c) Joh 13:4c-5, Took a towel + girded Himself/ began to wash the disciples’ feet;
