All those who are born into the world, are born after their father Adam, are are thus born under a sentence of death. All mankind is mortal. Man is born of water, as babies are born through the amniotic fluid of their mother. All those born a second time, are born of their Father God, through the Spirit, and enter into everlasting life. They escape the death sentence of their earthly father, and enter into the life everlasting of their heavenly Father. This rebirth, what the Greek Testament Scripture often terms the new birth, is a key component of salvation, and separates those who merely talk the talk, from those who walk the walk in truth, bearing the fruit of the Spirit.
Admittedly this is is a mind-blowing concept, but as this is a key topic of especially the Greek Testament Scripture, more and more understanding will build as we continue through the Bible.
