The Hebrew paragraphs:

Judges 14:1-20 Chiastic Structure:
The central axis might even be narrower, with her saying, “Will you not tell it to me?” on one side, and with him saying, “Why would I tell it to you?” on the other side. Then, “Behold, I have not told it to my father nor my mother;” as the narrower axis. Three times the Scripture takes pains to mention that Samson did not tell it to his father or his mother. And three is a Sign of Messiah teaching tool.
I have been meditating on its significance. For I know that Yeshua did tell it, whatever it was, to His Father, and His Father told it, whatever it was, to Yeshua.
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” Joh 5:19-20
Samson was a Prophetic Type for Messiah, in that he was supernaturally empowered by the Spirit to prevail over his enemies, just as Yeshua was and is. But for all that, he was still a man, with weaknesses. His parents had greater wisdom that he; for example, when they questioned his choice of a Philistine woman for a wife; but he did not listen to their wisdom. And perhaps the other things he did not tell them, because he knew the fault they would find with his rash decisions. We can Learn from the Narrative, that the temptation to hide things from those with greater wisdom whom God has placed in our lives, is not a fruit of wisdom or of the Spirit.
