“Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they do not die in their uncleanness, when they defile My tabernacle that is among them.” Lev 15:31
And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, saying, “Let us alone; what have we to do with you, Yeshua of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God.” And Yeshua rebuked him, saying, “Hold your peace, and come out of him.” And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed, in that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What thing is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.” Mar 1:23-27
Why This Matters: The Hebrew ‘holy’ (qadosh) does not mean flawless; it means set apart and separate from the common or profane (unclean). Yeshua, the Holy One—The Set Apart or Separate One—of God separates His children from their uncleanness, that they do not die, since the dwelling place of God is among them.
For you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore come out from among them, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor 6:16b-18
