Leviticus 5, Messiah our trespass offering

A trespass is a specific type of sin, when any injury or offense is done to another person, or God, causing concrete damage or a violation of rights. Beyond the general remedy for sin (confession, repentance, and atonement) trespasses require an extra step: making full restitution for the damage or violation, plus 20%. Then they bring the trespass offering to atone for the sin. Why This Matters: A trespass doesn’t stop with violating God’s righteousness, or harming our neighbor. We damage our own souls with guilt that eats away at our hearts like a cancer. Yet beautifully, Yeshua’s blood atoned not only for sins, not only for trespasses done to another, but for this damage also.

God sends out His voice, a mighty voice (Psa 68:32-33). His voice is so mighty, that even those who have stopped up their ears will hear it. Thus, no one will have an excuse before God. The key question is not whether the deaf will hear – they will. But what will they do with what they have heard? We must be praying for a repentant response.
1 Corinthians 3, What God has prepared

He is not after sold out love from us because He is an egomaniac who requires the subservience of every person. What does our agreement with God add to Him? But His commandments instruct us in that way of walking which causes blessing to increase in our lives! He is after our obedience, because He loves us with all He is!
