Taken June 10, 2012 from Fossil Creek Park, Fort Collins, Colorado. Over the first ridge of foothills, where the smoke is rising from, is where Bellvue Colorado is.
Taken March 2001 from our back door. This mountain ridge is directly behind our house. The moon was setting while the sun was rising, and it was pink (although the pink doesn’t show up in the photo). It was beautiful.
This was taken from the top of Bingham Hill. The valley that you see spread out below, is called Pleasant Valley, and it was where our house was. The ridge of mountains that you see in the back of the photo, is the same ridge as in the moonset photo.
One of the hogback ridges as seen from North County Road 23, the road that runs through Pleasant Valley.
You can see our house! There are two houses closest to the road toward the back of the photo. Our house is on the right side.
Our neighbor’s horses.
We had a huge spring snowstorm that year (March of 2001). This was taken along the front of our house, and that is Dave’s truck buried in snow.
Our back yard, taken from the house. The chicken coop was directly behind the blue building, and to the right of the telephone pole is the goat barn. Our huge garden was in the corner made by the chicken coop on one side and the goat barn on the other.
Looking toward the north from the house (I think) …
Looking toward the west from the house (I think)
The valley when the storm passed through.
Sarah Miller at 10 years old (spring 1997), with Daisy, one of our Nubian dairy goats, as a kid. Our children raised our goats from kids. This is our back yard of our home in Bellvue.
