We had a wonderful Feast of Trumpets dinner last night with Dad and I, Ballingers, and Carricks. Unfortunately Sarah was at work, so she couldn’t be there, and Mike was of course in Florida – we missed you, Sarah and Mike! I searched for the new moon on the evening of Sep 30, and it was nowhere to be seen. They didn’t see it in Israel either. But they saw it in Israel last night. I looked and did not find it, because the sky was completely clear, except for banks of clouds over the mountains where the new moon should be. However, we knew that if they saw it in Jerusalem, we would have seen it here, so we put on some Phil Driscoll and played trumpet music, LOL. One of these years the angel blowing the great trumpet will join in with all our trumpet music that is playing all over the earth on that day!
God even did a miracle for us — Zane was eating fruit snacks, and he left one out on the table, which Gracie got ahold of, popped in her mouth, and it promptly got stuck in her throat, so that she couldn’t breathe and her lips were turning blue. We were praying, and Ty turned Gracie over while applying pressure in the right place, and Gracie coughed up the fruit snack onto the floor. She cried for a little while (as did Steph, since it was so scary), but God is so faithful and not only helped Ty to know just what to do, but helped the fruit snack to come out. Thank you, Lord!!
Now today I am enjoying a sabbath of rest, worshipping the Lord, doing bible study, and going for a walk in the park a little later. Dad, Uncle K, Uncle Bob, Uncle Bill, and Ty are having a guys night out tonight – the last one before Dad and I move to Florida. Thank you for times of refreshing, Lord!
