We have come to the remaining four stanzas in the center of the psalm. I am working on them, and meditating on them, and knocking on Heaven’s door, and stepping away, and coming back with fresh eyes, and knocking some more. I am anticipating the final outcome on pins and needles like everyone else, LOL.
I did see that the kaph and lamed stanzas, which in the initial study each formed their own separate structures, do combine, and I believe this combination will prove to be necessary for the revealing of the central axis:
1a) Psa 119:81-88, kaph Save me + revive me + Your word my hope / I do not forsake Your statutes / My affliction + persecutors:
1a) Psa 119:81082, My soul faints / My eyes fail, but I hope in Your word:
Psa 119:81, kaph My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word;
Psa 119:82 My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying, “When will You comfort me?”
1b) Psa 119:83-84, The limit of my days, yet I do not forsake Your statutes:
Psa 119:83, For I have become like a wineskin in smoke, Yet I do not forget Your statutes;
Psa 119:84a, How many are the days of Your servant?
1c) Psa 119:84b-85, Execute judgment on those who persecute me:
Psa 119:84b, When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me?
Psa 119:85, The proud have dug pits for me, which is not according to Your law;
central axis) Psa 119:86a, All Your commandments are faithful;
2c) Psa 119:86b, They persecute me wrongfully; Help me!
2b) Psa 119:87 They almost made an end of me on earth, But I did not forsake Your precepts;
2a) Psa 119:88, Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth. {p}
central axis) Psa 119:89-91, lamed The eternal endurance of the word of the Lord:
Psa 119:89, Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven;
Psa 119:90 Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides;
Psa 119:91 They continue this day according to Your ordinances, for all are Your servants;
2a) Psa 119:92-96, Your word my delight / My affliction + persecutors / I do not forget your precepts / Save me:
1a) Psa 119:92a, Unless Your law had been my delight;
1b) Psa 119:92b, I would then have perished in my affliction;
1c) Psa 119:93a, I will never forget Your precepts;
1d) Psa 119:93b, For by them You have given me life;
2d) Psa 119:94a, I am Yours, save me;
2c) Psa 119:94b, For I have sought Your precepts;
2b) Psa 119:95, The wicked wait for me to destroy me, but I will consider Your testimonies;
2a) Psa 119:96, I have seen the consummation of all perfection, but Your commandment is exceedingly broad. {p}
