1c) Psa 119:66-68, My affliction turned me toward Your good statutes:
1a) Psa 119:66, Teach me good judgment and knowledge, For I believe Your commandments;
1b) Psa 119:67a, Before I was afflicted I went astray;
2b) Psa 119:67b, But now I keep Your word;
2a) Psa 119:68, You are good, and do good; Teach me Your statutes;
1d) Psa 119:69, The proud have forged a lie against me, But I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart;
2d) Psa 119:70, Their heart is as fat as grease, But I delight in Your law;
2c) Psa 119:71, It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes;

God is good, and does good: His judgment is good, His word, commandments, and statutes are good. And if we went our own way and not His, but affliction caused us to realize His way was better, then it was good of Him to allow the affliction of our own way to come upon us.
