The Hebrew paragraphs:
2:1-12 {p} YHVH’s Anointed – Messiah – is King and Begotten Son
Psalm 2:1-12 forms a Chiastic Structure:
The chiastic structure reveals that Messiah – the Anointed One – is one and the same as YHVH’s Begotten Son; who is Yeshua, who is one and the same as the coming King who reigns in Zion.
The kings and judges of the earth are against YHVH and His Anointed, because He is greater than they are; and they must submit to Him, knocking them from their imagined top dog status. Thus their uproar. And if they are in greater uproar today than twenty, or fifty, or 100 years ago, it is because the time they will be brought to heel is ever closer.
But notice that their uproar necessitates the common man to seek refuge in Him (A pair), since their vain (empty, useless, doomed to failure) schemes to prevent the above creates chaos.
The Hebrew Root Word parable of taking refuge is from Strong’s H2620 חסה chasah; a primitive root meaning, “to seek or find refuge.”
chet ח = the wall, thus outside, divide, half
sin ס = the thorn, thus grab, hate, protect
hey ה = man w/ raised arms, thus look, reveal, wonder, worship, breath
The parable: When the wall (chet) which protects (sin) is found (hey, in the sense of pointing out a discovery). According to the Ancient Hebrew Lexicon, our English word “house” comes from the CH-S root.
He is the wall which protects in the face of their uproar and vanity. It is not too late to find Him!
