Revelation 13

1a) Rev 13:1-8, The beast of the sea/ its authority + worship;

1a) Rev 13:1-4b, The beast of the sea/ its description, authority, and worship;

1a) Rev 13:1-2a, The beast rising out of the sea having seven heads + ten horns;
1b) Rev 13:2b, The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority;
central axis) Rev 13:3, And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast;
2b) Rev 13:4a, So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast;
2a) Rev 13:4b, And they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast?

1b) Rev 13:4c, Who is able to make war with him?”
1c) Rev 13:5a, And he was given a mouth speaking great things + blasphemies;
central axis) Rev 13:5b, And he was given authority to continue for forty-two months;
2c) Rev 13:6, He opened his mouth to blaspheme God’s name + tabernacle + citizens of heaven;
2b) Rev 13:7a, It was granted to him to make war with the saints + to overcome them;
2a) Rev 13:7b-8, Authority given him over every tribe, tongue, nation/ all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life;

central axis) Rev 13:9-10a, If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword;

2a) Rev 13:10b-18, The beast of the land/ its authority + worship;

1a) Rev 13:10b, Here is the patience and the faith of the saints;
1b) Rev 13:11-12a, The beast rising out of the earth/ its description + authority;
1c) Rev 13:12b, And causes the earth + those who dwell in it to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed;
1d) Rev 13:13, He performs great signs/ fire from heaven on the earth in the sight of men;
central axis) Rev 13:14a, And he deceives those who dwell on the earth;
2d) Rev 13:14b, By those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast;
2c) Rev 13:14c, Telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the mortal wound but lived;
2b) Rev 13:15, He gave breath to the image/ it spoke + caused all who would not worship it to be killed;
2a) Rev 13:16-18, He causes all to receive his mark/ Here is wisdom/ its number is 666.
