The LORD is waiting, holding back judgment, to extend grace and mercy toward us, for we are precious in His sight, and He loves us. In this He is just; those who likewise wait for Him, will be blessed. His justice and righteousness is right, and excellent, a thing of glory. Do not be ashamed of Him or it. His righteousness brings peace, quietness, and faithfulness to a land. Speak and act according to His uprightness, bear witness to His uprightness, for His righteousness does not contradict His mercy. His righteousness is an expression of His mercy, His love, and His blessing. When you uphold His righteousness, He will uphold your right hand; He will be your help – do not be afraid. The places that were barren of His word and His truth, will burst forth with the life of His word and His truth, watered by His Spirit, and His word will be sweet to the taste where once it was bitter – so don’t explain it away or compromise it! The places that were gardens of deciet and falsehood will wither away and fade, and it will be the word of God which will stand the test of time. For Yehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, who dwells between the cherubim – His Law covered by His mercy – He alone is God of all the kingdoms of the earth, not kings, not councils, and not man. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, and it is the plans of His heart which will be established, not the plans or fears of men.
