It started snowing yesterday morning and only just quit, as a winter blizzard shut down the state of Colorado. We got about two feet of snow at our house; my dh is home today, most people can’t get out of their driveways. You know it is bad when the malls close this near to Christmas, and the Post Office and UPS shut down their deliveries. The good news is that we still have power (yay!) and lots of families, forced by the weather, get to spend an unexpected day together. And we will probably have a white Christmas, something we don’t normally get. Although I do feel for all the poor folks stuck at the airport. Perhaps by tonight the roads will be plowed and people can begin to move around again.

I have family in Aurora.
I always think how fun and cozy it would be to be snowed in for a couple of days, provided that you are warm and have plenty of food! ( I grew up in So. CA ) I tend to be a homebody though so I'm guessing not everyone feels this way. I live in Boise, ID now We don't get near as much snow in our banana belt but we are expecting 2 to 3 inches later today That's nothing compared to 2 to 3 feet!
Stay warm and cozy,
Angela
