1 packet of stevia plus is equal in sweetness to 2 tsp sugar. Since there are 3 tsp in 1 T, and 4 T in 1/4 c, if a recipe calls for:
1/4 c sugar = 6 pkts stevia
1/3 c sugar = 8 pkts stevia (there are 5-1/3 T in 1/3 c)
1/2 c sugar = 12 pkts stevia
2/3 c sugar = 16 pkts stevia
3/4 c sugar = 18 pkts stevia
1 c sugar = 24 pkts stevia
However, when I have substituted stevia for sugar using this conversion table, the finished product generally has too much stevia in it, giving it a bitter taste. The more sugar called for, the more off track the converted recipe seems. I have had better luck using as an approximate guide, 16 pkts of stevia for 1 c sugar. Each individual recipe will require its own experimentation in order to determine the right level of stevia to make the recipe sweet but not bitter. 🙂
