We all know the MSM is biased. But the propaganda campaign it is waging against Israel is unreal.
We all know about the faked Reuters photos. (Different faked Reuters photos here.) Now the AP is getting in on the act, as well as the New York Times (why am I not surprised?). Little Green Footballs has coined the term ‘fauxtography’ to describe this rash of staged or doctored photos being published by the news wires to turn public opinion against Israel.
The problem with the MSM and the UN branding everything Israel does in self- defense as ‘war crimes,’ is that people will learn that they always over react about anything having to do with Israel, and tune them out. Then if Israel really does commit war crimes at some point the future, the press will be unable to get anyone to listen.
The press is a business with a product to sell like everyone else; the problem with the press is that they do not understand their own product. It is not news; it is credibility. Without credibility, there is no news. I am afraid the press is well on their way to finding that out.

Update: It’s not an epidemic, it’s a pandemic. Now U.S. News and World Report has gotten caught with its hand in the cookie jar, er, the propaganda jar.

Update: Free Republic is keeping up with all the fauxtography propaganda sightings.

Update: Here is another one by Reuters. The woman in the photos has been dubbed by bloggers “the unluckiest property owner in Lebanon,” because she keeps showing up in front of different homes that have been destroyed. (More here and here.) The goofs over at IMAO cannot let the joke pass.

Isn’t this amazing (in a bad way)? But in a good way too – that all this is coming out. Is anyone paying attention though?

It seems as if I get most of my news from blogs these days. I am beginning to feel they are a much more trustworthy source! Thanks for the info.
