This week is Homeschooling Torah’s video conference, and Anne had me as a guest for two of the sessions, which aired yesterday.
The Heritage and History of Homeschooling
In which we talk about the history of homeschooling, but also take many bunny trails about education in general, and homeschooling in particular.
In which we talk about what we did not have growing up, that we needed, and I talk about my failures in showing love to my own family when my children were young, and how the Lord taught me, through many trials, how to receive love from Him in order to show it to my family. All I can say is, I am not the same person today that I was 40, 30, or even 20 years ago when my children were leaving home. When Anne first asked me to do this conference session, I told her I wasn’t the person for it, as I failed at this when my children were growing up. She told me she wanted me for it, because I am the only person of her acquaintance where the Father’s love emanates from my person in tangible waves to everyone around me. I was shocked that she said this, but she convinced me. My point in doing this was in hoping that the young generation of families coming up, with young children, who attend these conferences, will learn shortly what it took me decades to learn, and avoid the same mistakes with their children. ♥
My hi tech video studio lol.
