5 oz blue cheese, crumbled (1 c)
1/3 c buttermilk
1/3 c sour cream or creme fraiche
1/4 c mayonnaise
1/4 c white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Mash the blue cheese and buttermilk in a small bowl with a fork, until it resembles small curd cottage cheese. Whisk in the remaining ingredients. Makes 1-1/2 c dressing.
