1 c heavy whipping cream
2 c chocolate chips or 12 oz chopped bittersweet chocolate
Put the chopped chocolate in a heat- proof glass bowl. Heat the whipping cream over simmering water to the boiling point. Do not boill. Take off heat, and pour over the chocolate. Do not stir for 2 minutes. Then whisk until the chocolate is melted and the ganache is smooth. Use warm as a heavenly chocolate sauce for desserts, or chill.
I learned how to make this watching Good Eats on the Food Network. We love Alton!
