For those of you who missed church last night: it was the Sabbath which fell during the week of Tabernacles, and there was such an intense and exquisite atmosphere of joy and celebration in the place. Everyone was giddy with it, Pastor Jonathan was playing the Hebrew style praise and worship, and people were dancing and rejoicing. I couldn’t stop crying, because I am SO HAPPY that God is indeed with us in Immanuel, that He has adopted me into His family! I am going to be there at the marriage supper of the Lamb, which this feast foreshadows; I am not an outsider or a Gentile! I have been GRAFTED IN!
So we changed our attendance at the Tabernacles church shindig from Monday, which we had tickets for, to Sunday night (tonight!) which we didn’t have tickets for. On Monday night, someone would have had to miss – Steph has her final exam with her medical terminology class, and I have my Crown Financial Bible study class that night. God so totally took care of us! By the end of the night, we all had tickets for tonight, including Sarah! The joy last night was just a foretaste of what it will be tonight. If you aren’t doing anything at 6 pm, COME and celebrate with us!
